What to expect when working with Tracy
Tailored Experience
Every session begins with thoughtful planning around your goals, personal style, and how your photographs will be used. From wardrobe and styling to background, location, and overall visual direction, the details are considered in advance so your session feels personal, purposeful, and well prepared.
Comfort and Confidence
Tracy creates a relaxed, welcoming environment designed to help you feel at ease in front of the camera. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do — she guides you throughout the session so you can settle in, feel more confident, and let your natural presence come through.
Expert Guidance
Throughout your session, Tracy guides you with posing, posture, angles, and expression so you never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera. Her direction helps you look natural, confident, and fully yourself while creating images that reflect both your personality and your professional presence.
Live Feedback
Tracy photographs tethered to a large monitor, so you can see your images as they’re being created. Reviewing them together in real time helps you relax, make adjustments as needed, and build confidence as the session unfolds.
Post-Production Excellence
After your session, Tracy and her team carefully retouch and prepare each selected image to deliver a polished, professional result while preserving a natural and authentic appearance. The goal is refinement—not over-editing—so you still look like yourself, simply at your best.
CONFIDENCE IN YOUR FINAL IMAGES
With Tracy, there’s no guesswork. You’ll review your images during the session and select the photographs you love before you leave the studio. That way, you know exactly which images are moving into final retouching and can feel confident about the results.

Q: How do I book a Session?
Most sessions can be booked directly through the website. You can choose your package, customize your session, and pay either a 50% deposit or the full amount at checkout. For custom projects, larger teams, or branding sessions, complete the inquiry form and Tracy will follow up personally with a customized proposal and next steps.
Q: What if I love more photos? Can I add to my package?
Absolutely. Your package includes a specific number of final retouched images, but you may always purchase additional photographs after your session.
Q: Where is your studio located?
Tracy’s private studio is located in the Diamond Head/Kahala area of Honolulu, with free street parking or driveway parking available.
Q: How do I pay for my session?
You may pay a 50% deposit when booking or pay in full. Any remaining balance is due on the day of your session. Major credit cards are accepted online, and cash, Venmo, or Apple Pay may also be accepted in person.
Q: Do you have group rates for larger companies or office teams?
Yes. Tracy offers professional on-location headshots for companies, executive teams, and organizations throughout Honolulu and the Hawaiian Islands. Larger projects are customized based on team size, location, scheduling, group portraits, and other project needs. EXPLORE: Power Team Headshots.
Q: Do I need professional hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup is not required for every session, but it is highly recommended for a polished, camera-ready result. Hair and makeup for photography differ from an everyday look, and a professional stylist knows how to prepare you for studio lighting while keeping you natural and recognizable.
Professional grooming is also available for men.
Hair and makeup generally takes about 60–90 minutes, while grooming typically takes 15-30 minutes. Preparation guides are provided in advance so you know how to arrive with your hair and skin ready.
For Creative Headshot and Professional Branding Sessions, styling support is included in the experience.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least seven days before your scheduled session are eligible for a full refund of your deposit.
Cancellations made less than seven days before the session will forfeit the deposit, since your date and time have been reserved exclusively for you. If a stylist has also been booked, their cancellation policy may apply separately.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise, so please contact Tracy as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Q: I never know what to wear. Can you help me?
Absolutely. Tracy provides wardrobe guidance before your session so you can feel prepared and confident about what to bring.
For Creative Headshot and Professional Branding Sessions, a styling consultation is included. Depending on the session, additional stylist support may also be available to help coordinate wardrobe, colors, accessories, and overall visual direction.
Q: What happens during my session?
Tracy photographs tethered to a large monitor so you can see your images as they’re being created. Throughout the session, she guides you through posing, posture, angles, expression, and movement, reviewing the photographs with you along the way. This collaborative process helps you relax, make real-time adjustments, and feel confident about the images you’re creating before you leave the studio.
Q: What do you mean when you say, “Location”?
“In studio” means your session takes place in Tracy’s Honolulu studio. “Outdoor” refers to photographs created in the areas immediately around the studio. A “location” is a separate setting such as your office, business, home, park, beach, neighborhood, or other destination chosen for the session. Depending on your package and creative goals, a session may include one or multiple locations.
Q: What do you mean when you say, “Look”?
A “look” is a distinct visual variation within your session. It may include changes to wardrobe, styling, hair, background, lighting, or overall mood.
For a business headshot session, one look might be more polished and formal, while another might feel more relaxed and approachable. For actors, models, or creative sessions, different looks can be used to show greater range and versatility.
Q: What happens after my session?
After your session, Tracy and her team prepare and professionally retouch your selected final images. Once complete, your photographs are delivered via a private download link.
If your session includes a proofing gallery, you’ll receive an online gallery first so you can make your final selections before retouching begins.
Q: What about RETOUCHING?
All selected final images are professionally retouched as part of your session.
Retouching is used to refine the image while preserving a natural and authentic appearance. This may include adjustments to skin, stray hairs, clothing, background distractions, color, and overall polish.
More extensive editing—such as major object removal, compositing, or significant cosmetic changes—may require an additional fee.
Q: Am I allowed to make my own prints?
Yes. Your final high-resolution images include personal printing rights, so you may order prints through the lab or vendor of your choice.
Q: WHO OWNS THE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Tracy Wright Corvo Photography retains the copyright to the photographs created during your session. Your final delivered images include usage rights appropriate to your package, such as personal, professional, promotional, or business use.
If you need broader commercial licensing, publication rights, or access to RAW files, those can be discussed separately.
Q: Do I get all the photos from my session?
Your session includes a specific number of professionally selected and retouched final images. These are the photographs that have been fully finished and prepared for delivery.
Unselected images and RAW files are not included in standard session packages. RAW files are unfinished working files and are part of Tracy’s professional creative process, much like a designer’s source files or a filmmaker’s unedited footage.
Professional photography involves much more than pressing the shutter. Image selection, color work, retouching, cropping, and final preparation are all part of creating the finished photographs you receive.
If you would like additional final images, they may be purchased individually. RAW files may also be available for purchase in certain circumstances by separate agreement.
Q: WHAT IF I HAVE A CONCERN ABOUT MY FINAL IMAGES?
Tracy reviews your photographs with you during the session whenever possible, which helps ensure you feel confident about your selections before they move into final retouching.
If you have a concern after receiving your finished images, please contact Tracy within 48 hours of delivery. She’ll review the issue with you and determine whether a retouching adjustment or another solution is appropriate.
